Primers for bryophyte nuclear loci

We have a paper in press at AJB – Applications in Plant Sciences with more than 200 primers for bryophyte nuclear genes (sequences and Tms here). Many of these have been used to generate clean sequences across the bryophyte phylogeny, including in Ceratodon, Atrichum, Hylocomium, Pleurozium, Plagiothecium, Plagiomnium, Timmia, Amphidium and Orthotrichum. Nearly all contain at least one intron, and most are variable within the species that we have examined, but remain alignable among closely related genera. Check back for updates or get in touch to see which loci work for your taxa of interest.
